Sample details

The PROTECT Study is a longitudinal study hosted on an online platform that enables annual assessment of cognitive function, lifestyle, and medical history. The study follows participants who are over 40 years old, live in the UK, have a good working knowledge of English, and can use a computer with Internet access. Recruitment began in 2014 and continues through the online platform, which allows interested individuals to register for the study if they meet the eligibility criteria. Participants have been followed up on 8 times between 2014 and 2020.
