Sample details

This study investigated whether the changes in the hippocampus contribute to the development of memory. Beginning in 2011, participants aged 8 to 14 years were recruited from Sacramento, California, in the United States of America. At baseline, over 500 participants were included in the cohort. Participants were followed up three times over the course of 5 years.
